Trail Overview

Rattlesnake Lodge Trail, on the Blue Ridge Parkway north of Asheville, climbs to the ruins of a early-1900s summer lodge. It is climbs to the ruins of Dr. Chase Ambler’s early-1900s summer lodge, reportedly named after 41 rattlesnakes killed there in its first three years.
