Mama Gertie’s

Mama Gertie’s Hideaway is a small, well-kept campground on a terraced hillside in Swannanoa, east of Asheville, with RV sites, cabins, and tent spots looking out over the Swannanoa Valley.

It is a quiet base close to the Black Mountains and Montreat, with Catawba Falls, Mount Mitchell, and downtown Asheville all within about twenty minutes.
