Trail Overview

Fryingpan Mountain, off the Blue Ridge Parkway near Mount Pisgah, is home to a historic steel fire lookout tower. It features a 70-foot steel fire lookout tower built in 1941 atop a 5,340-foot peak, restored in 2010, with views including Mount Pisgah and Cold Mountain.
