Trail Overview

Basin Creek Trail, in Doughton Park on the Blue Ridge Parkway, follows Basin Creek past cascading waterfalls to a century-old historic cabin. It is follows Basin Creek past cascading waterfalls to the historic Caudill Cabin, the last structure standing from the Basin Cove community destroyed by the 1916 flood.
