Mingo Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in the southern Appalachians, is reached by 161 steps to a bridge crossing directly in front of the falls. It runs under 0.5 mi from the parking area, rated Moderately easy (161 steps, steep climb), featuring rises over 120 feet, among the tallest waterfalls in the southern Appalachians, reached via 161 steps to a viewing bridge.
