Davidson River

Davidson River Campground is the busiest and best-connected campground in the Pisgah Ranger District, two miles from downtown Brevard on US-276. Loops of shaded sites line the Davidson River, with a mix of tent and RV spots, flush toilets, and hot showers.

It is the natural base for a Pisgah waterfall trip: the Art Loeb trailhead is walkable, and Looking Glass Falls, Sliding Rock, Moore Cove Falls, and the Cradle of Forestry are all within fifteen minutes. Reserve well ahead for summer and fall weekends.
