Asheville Brewing Company is a longtime local favorite on Coxe Avenue in the South Slope brewery district, pairing house beers with pizza and, at its Merrimon Avenue location, a second-run movie theater.

The South Slope taproom is an easy walk from downtown hotels and a good low-key spot to land after a day on the trails.
